Did you know that our Williams Montessori students participate in a micro-economy event called Kid’s Camp?
Kid’s Camp is a camp held on teacher workdays to offer a fun experience for Upper Elementary students to be introduced to Secondary Montessori. The Secondary Montessori students have an opportunity to apply as a camp counselor to earn money for their school community and earn service hours as they donate their time to this fundraiser. It is win-win for the entire Montessori community.
Help us spread the word about this fundraiser by registering your younger children as campers and ask your middle/high school student to look for counselor applications in the coming weeks. The first Kid’s Camp event takes place October 30th, 8:45-4:30, on our new campus, 2400 Carmine St. Deadline for registration is Oct 23rd.
